In a shocking case from Rajasthan’s Sikar district, a temple priest named Baba Balaknath and his associates are accused of rape and blackmail. A woman has filed an FIR, alleging that the priest drugged and raped her multiple times, with a viral video surfacing as crucial evidence.

According to the woman, she first met Baba Balaknath through a man named Rajesh during a visit to the Kshetrapal Temple in Khedi Datunjala. The priest reportedly promised to resolve her family problems using Tantra Vidya (a mystical practice). During these meetings, he gave her prasad (a religious offering), which she later claimed was laced with drugs.

The victim recalls that on the day of the incident, Baba Balaknath offered to drop her home and gave her a sweet (peda) on the way, which caused her to lose consciousness. She alleges that while she was unconscious, the priest repeatedly raped her, and his driver, Yogesh, recorded the act on video.

After the incident, the victim claims she was subjected to continued harassment. She was allegedly forced to visit the priest regularly, with threats that the video would be leaked online if she refused or spoke out. Fearing for her safety and reputation, she remained silent for months before deciding to come forward.

The viral video of the assault, which spread across social media over the weekend, has triggered public outrage and intensified the investigation.

Police at the Udyog Nagar police station have registered a case and begun questioning the accused. They are also looking into the threats allegedly made against the victim and her family.

Baba Balaknath and his associates have not yet commented on the allegations. So far, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
